I'm speaking for myself, but also by other people. I'll talk to them to comment on, as I said earlier. We have to reach a conclusion. My opinion is not to have "The kill is indicator flag", but let's hope other opinions, and do what is best for the game and the community

I'm satisfied right now and I see no reason to change anything(I mean what You guys are talking about here,have it my way and half of the game would be different,just saying tho).

Another solution is to add a gsp2 mutator to hide the overlay in CTF and have longer intervals in HTF/KTF.

I think in CTF, instant updates should be changed to ~3-5 second intervals, but it should still be instant in HTF/KTF.
With a mutator, it can be disabled or 30 second intervals in CTF, and HTF/KTF can have 10 second intervals.

xdEpicZombie, sorry to say this, I play Assault Cube from 2006 to 2014. I know what decent players like, and I asked many, and they all had the same opinion, that needs to be changed. Or not having "The kill flag indicator is" or then a long break, but be bad if will have interval..

I have a new idea: because the classic mutator is supposed to make the gameplay more similar to AC, we can do this:

Classic: hide flag indicators for all modes
No classic: 8 second intervals for CTF, otherwise 5 seconds

Problem solved?

Well, it will already be removed when the classic mutator is set, and there will be a medium-long interval when the classic mutator is not enabled.

@.LeXuS'', just vote a map with "classic" enabled, and you'll see that gameplay is more like AC.

I do not want to play like ac. I prefer acr, and has much better future, just me and the other players do not like it. But if it is possible to vote the "classic" mode and not be able to see the flag. is ok!

Hopefully the 2.7!

I still say have it only be on radar and update every 15 seconds.

The real world justification behind this could be a radio device placed on the flag that broadcasts every 15 seconds giving away it's position.

^Perfect.

Battlefield 4 has the stupidest idea of showing the location of the freaking bomb carrier similar to how it is currently. If I remember correctly, CTE only "reveals" the location of the bomb carrier at regular intervals, similar to Ruler501's suggestion
